Welcome Home!!!

Welcome home!!! My daddy’s a hero!!! I have missed you!!! was what I was reading on my way home yesterday, on the windows of the van in front of me. It made me think back to lunch - it was different than it has been.

We had gone to a sub place right up the road on Yadkin. The place was packed, I remember now as I sat down and looked around at all the young men and women in uniforms and there were some with gray hair to. George had a big smile on his face, and I realized but it didn’t hit me like it should. The place had not been that busy for sometime. I remember the feeling of pride I felt just being in their company at the time yesterday. Looking at the tabs on the uniforms that read Ranger, Airborne and Special Forces, as I write this today I truly believe we are blessed to live in Fayetteville because we are in the presence of America’s best.

To the little boy or girl in the van in front of me yesterday, to the Husband or Wife driving we want to say on your loved one’s safe return home, “WELCOME HOME,” “YOU ARE OUR HERO,” “AND WE HAVE MISSED YOU!!!

How may I help You?

I won’t cover what everyone else is talking about today because we already did last week, and what a good guess (the fed lowered their rate by 1/2 percent).

I want to talk about something so easy but yet seems so hard now a days. I answered a call earlier and it was another agent inquiring about one of my listings in Raeford. She went on to tell me she had a client transferring in to Fort Bragg and she wanted to show it this weekend and was asking how the process worked with VA owned homes and what the difference was between them and Countrywide or other bank-owned homes. I started getting impatient instead of slowing down as I would with a client, I was thinking, “as an agent she should know this, hurry up and let me go”.

Looking back now I wasn’t rude or mean, but I wasn’t as helpful as I should have been. I know this has nothing to do with buying or selling a home but sometimes I think we get what we give and vise versa. So I promise, be it another agent, client, or someone with just a question, that I will take my time and help in any way possible.
